SAIMI’s primary purpose is to facilitate linkages and collaboration amongst role players in maritime research, education and training in South Africa, and with similar institutes in Africa. The Institute plays a much-needed linking role between industry and educational institutions, with the aim to strengthen maritime education and research through facilitating co-ordination and co-operation among education providers. Our brief was to develop the brand from scratch and to market SAIMI both locally, nationally and internationally.

Branding

Taking inspiration from the ocean and SAIMI's corporate message, we developed a brand that encompasses both.

Marketing

The responsibility of Yellow Lizard has been to uniquely position the Institute in the context of South Africa as a global leader in the sustainable utilisation of maritime resources. This has included the development of the Institute’s branding and provision of on-going marketing services, including social media management, event advertising, web design and hosting.

Videography

Using stock as well as some our own video footage, we created this elegant corporate video promo for the client. This video provides an overview of the Institute and the crucial role it plays within the Maritime Industry.

Event Management

From various workshops, stakeholder meetings and conferences, Yellow Lizard has helped manage many different events to ensure meaningful connections are made and that greater awareness is achieved for SAIMI.
